Jojo Siwa Confirms Dating Rumors

Jojo Siwa and Avery Cyrus's relationship raised even more eyebrows after they shared a TikTok of them kissing at a Chuck E. Cheese photo booth just a day before walking the red carpet together. In the video, Avery and Jojo lip-synched to old audio of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick saying that they are just friends. JoJo captioned the clip, "This audio was made for us…. @averycyrus". Avery previously dated TikToker Soph Mosca for about two years, and JoJo was previously in a relationship with Kylie Prew.

Avery is from Texas and identifies as bisexual. She started posting online through TikTok in 2019 and quickly became the app's major voice in the LGBTQ community. She currently has 8 million followers on TikTok. Cyrus told LATV Queer, “My pride is how I’ve learned to be super comfortable in my own skin because growing up, I was weird and gay and super tomboyish,”. They’ve only made things official but back in August, Siwa told America’s Got Talent that she had known Cyrus for six months already.

About her identity, she told Teen Vogue, “I have thought about this, but the reason I'm not going to say this answer is because I don't really know this answer,” she said in response to a fan who wanted to know if she’s given a name to her sexuality. “I think humans are awesome, I think humans are really incredible people. Right now, I'm super-duper happy and I want to share everything with the world but I also want to keep things in my life private until they are ready to be public. Right now what matters is that you guys know that no matter who you love, that it's okay. It's awesome and the world is there for you.”

Jojo is set to have a guest role in the upcoming season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. The show currently has no premiere date.
